Gregory Schiller, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Greg Schiller has been a practicing physical therapist for more than 15 years and has extensive experience in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2008 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010, both from Boston University.
Greg began his career in a community-based outpatient clinic on the South Shore of Massachusetts, where he developed his foundational clinical skills and a strong passion for orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. His commitment to advancing his expertise led him to complete a sports physical therapy residency at the University of Delaware, where he trained under leaders in the PT field. During his residency, he gained specialized experience in the management of ligament and intra-articular knee injuries, provided on-field care for the UD rugby team, and collaborated closely with orthopedic surgeons—observing and assisting across the full continuum of care from injury through surgery and post-operative rehabilitation.
In 2016, Greg returned to Boston University as a staff supervisor and physical therapist in the on-campus clinic, treating a wide range of patients from the university and surrounding community. He completed the BU Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy in 2018, further refining his clinical decision-making, treatment strategies, and advanced manual therapy skills. At BU, Greg balanced patient care with administrative leadership, clinical research, and teaching. He played a central role in developing the BU Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program, now an accredited program, and served as a clinical instructor and lab faculty member for future physical therapists.
Greg is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (2016), a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist (2017), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (2018). While he enjoys the variety of orthopedic patient care, he has a particular clinical interest in post-operative rehabilitation and guiding patients through recovery to restored function.
In 2023, Greg and his family relocated from Boston to Southbury, Connecticut. Since then, he has worked as a staff therapist in Danbury, continuing to expand his clinical expertise while building connections within the local community. He is excited to bring his experience, advanced training, and patient-centered approach to Southbury and is committed to serving as a trusted resource for individuals seeking high-quality physical therapy care.
